What you will do
- Provide subject matter guidance to manage and coordinate large-scale enterprise geospatial data and application capabilities for DHS GMO.
- Support development and implementation of plans and policies for managing, documenting, analyzing, collecting, and implementing GII requirements across GMO projects and technical teams.
- Recommend prioritization and resource-based approaches to meet requirements and improve processes, deliverables, and outcomes.
- Implement geospatial information technology solutions for homeland security/law enforcement and emergency management systems.
- Manage small teams (3–4) or larger efforts (5–10) using industry standards and methodologies such as Agile Scrum and Waterfall.
- Be available to the COR by phone (8:00 AM–4:00 PM Washington, DC local time, Mon–Fri) and respond to technical discussion/resolution requests within 24 hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 12+ years of specialized GIS and Project Manager experience.
- Active PMP certification.
- Public Trust Clearance required.
