What you will do

• Maintain water system equipment, including cleaning strainers, repairing fittings, and managing pumps.
• Monitor boiler, steam, and cooling tower chemistry to determine maintenance needs.
• Coordinate and execute the off-loading of water treatment chemical deliveries.
• Perform preventive and proactive maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate system logs and ensure chemical dikes and trenches are properly managed.
• Provide support for water washing, outages, and shift coverage as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with high-pressure boilers and auxiliary systems.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Ability to lift/carry 50lbs and work from heights or in confined spaces.
• Ability to qualify to wear a full-face respirator.
• Understanding of safety data sheets and chemical handling protocols.
