Salary: 288,000–432,000 PLN

What you will do

• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing data engineering team.
• Contribute hands-on to data pipelines, platform engineering, and architectural design.
• Define and evolve engineering standards for reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems.
• Ensure systems are observable, secure, and compliant with governance requirements.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Applied Science teams to shape roadmaps.
• Communicate priorities, risks, and progress to key stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience leading data or software engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience building and operating large-scale data processing systems.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of lakehouse technologies like Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices and CI/CD automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks like Spark or Flink.
• Experience building self-service analytics or internal data platforms.
• Understanding of AI/ML workflows and data requirements for model development.
