TL;DR

VP of Marketing (Product Marketing): Own product positioning, messaging, and launch strategy for platform, participant supply, and services, with an accent on translating complex technical offerings into clear narratives across AI, research, academic, and enterprise buying contexts. Focus on building a product launch framework, packaging solutions for go-to-market, and leading a PMM team while partnering with Product and Sales to drive measurable business outcomes.

Location: United States (base salary range provided for New York)

Salary: $180,000 - $230,000 per annum (base salary range for New York)

What you will do

  • Lead and develop a team of 3 PMMs, setting direction and building PMM craft across positioning, launches, and sales enablement.
  • Own product positioning and messaging architecture that vertical teams and Sales use as foundational narratives.
  • Build and run a product launch framework (process, templates, and cross-functional coordination) to make launches predictable and effective.
  • Own solutions packaging and go-to-market strategy combining platform, participants, and services.
  • Partner with Product leadership to shape roadmap priorities using market signals and competitive positioning.
  • Work with Sales leadership to understand deal outcomes and translate learnings into improved narratives and enablement materials.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in product or solutions marketing, including at least 2 years leading or managing PMMs.
  • Experience building PMM as a function (not only executing within an existing playbook).
  • Proven ability to translate complex, technical products into positioning that resonates with different buyer types.
  • Strong stakeholder management across Product, Sales, and executive teams; ability to influence without authority.
  • Track record of shipping launches that moved business metrics.
  • Excellent writing and synthesis skills to turn messy inputs into clear, compelling outputs.
