Product Manager (Engineering Applications): Managing the strategic evolution and performance of a portfolio of custom and hybrid engineering applications with an accent on engineering workflows, design data lifecycles, and operational sustainability. Focus on implementing quantitative prioritization models, rationalizing the application landscape, and ensuring architectural alignment within the Digital Product Operating Model.

Location: Must be based in Overland Park, KS, US (Hybrid work options may be offered after 90 days).

What you will do

• Own the strategic lifecycle, sustainability, and performance of custom and hybrid engineering applications.
• Design and operate a quantitative prioritization model to balance business value, risk, and technical debt.
• Lead portfolio rationalization efforts to assess relevance, redundancy, and total cost of ownership.
• Partner with architecture, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to ensure scalable and secure product roadmaps.
• Define and track product success metrics to drive data-informed decision-making.
• Coach cross-functional teams on product mindset and governance practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management, digital platforms, or complex application portfolios.
• Demonstrated expertise in engineering, infrastructure, or asset-intensive environments.
• Experience managing custom applications supporting engineering delivery (e.g., Autodesk, Bentley/ProjectWise, SmartPlant).
• Proven ability to implement structured intake, prioritization, and portfolio rationalization frameworks.
• Strong analytical capability and experience using performance metrics to drive outcomes.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (Visa sponsorship is not available).

Nice to have

• Experience working within or implementing a product operating model (DPOM, SAFe, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with secure and scalable architecture, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience modernizing legacy or bespoke engineering applications.
