What you will do

• Partner with product and engineering teams to embed security requirements from the ideation stage.
• Assess application risks across the SaaS platform and data pipelines, including emerging AI/ML threats.
• Integrate and optimize security tooling (SAST, SCA, DAST) within CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct threat modeling for new features, data architectures, and AI model deployments.
• Perform hands-on security testing and oversee third-party penetration tests.
• Provide guidance on secure coding standards and mentor engineering teams on security maturity.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in Application Security, Product Security, or Security Engineering.
• Strong experience securing cloud-native SaaS platforms (AWS preferred) and data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with back-end development and communication protocols.
• Proven ability to translate technical risks into business-impact stories for non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as OWASP ASVS, OWASP Top 10, NIST, and ISO 27001/2.
• Experience evaluating and securing AI/ML enabled features is a strong advantage.
