What you will do

• Define and execute the local wealth and trading business strategy and growth plan.
• Lead the end-to-end build-out of the local entity, including team, processes, and systems.
• Manage relationships with local regulators and oversee licence applications and supervision.
• Design and embed robust governance and first-line risk management frameworks.
• Ensure full compliance with securities, conduct, and consumer protection regulations.
• Own P&L delivery, including revenue targets, cost base management, and capital efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be based in Australia
• Degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive expertise in wealth and trading within regulated financial institutions like banks or brokers.
• Proven track record in launching or leading retail brokerage or wealth platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Australian securities and conduct regulatory frameworks.
• Experience engaging with regulators and managing inspections or remediation.
• Strong ability to partner with product and engineering teams in a digital environment.
