What you will do

• Own the strategic roadmap for risk capabilities including onboarding, underwriting, credit line management, and fraud prevention.
• Design the credit decisioning framework, evolving from static rule-based systems to dynamic, signal-rich architectures.
• Serve as the primary strategic interface between risk, product, and engineering teams to embed risk requirements in product specs.
• Define the risk product blueprint for new partner launches, configuring underwriting and servicing logic based on partner economics.
• Establish a KPI framework to connect decisioning quality to downstream outcomes like approval rates and loss rates.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in risk and product strategy within consumer lending, cards, or fintech.
• Deep understanding of credit card economics, including underwriting, loss forecasting, and portfolio P&L.
• Technical fluency in SQL and familiarity with how ML models are built and deployed.
• Proven track record of shipping risk capabilities as core design elements within a product.
• Exceptional communication skills to align stakeholders ranging from CFOs to engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python-based modeling or machine learning concepts.
• Background coordinating across multiple risk-focused functions or teams.
• Exposure to BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) products.
• Experience operating at L5/L6 scope in a high-growth environment.
