What you will do

• Perform all aspects of commissioning for chilled water, air distribution, AC, and building controls systems.
• Conduct commissioning design and submittal reviews to ensure technical compliance.
• Develop pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems commissioning scripts and execute them.
• Track and report commissioning issues and assemble final project reports.
• Lead small to moderately sized commissioning projects and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure project schedules are met while operating safely in construction environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• Alternatively, technical training with 2 years of experience (5 projects) or HS diploma with 5 years of experience (8 projects).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship provided for any visa types).
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including out-of-town and international travel.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 100-pound test sets.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ASHRAE commissioning industry standards and a Commissioning certification.
• LEED Accredited Professional (AP) certification.
• Background in the operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
