What you will do

• Design and maintain the Traffic Management System API using Go to manage routing and traffic-steering across a global edge fleet.
• Develop agents that render and apply routing configurations on edge nodes to ensure the desired state is driven from the API.
• Build and extend BGP and Anycast routing capabilities, including config rendering and prefix filtering.
• Develop automated failover and high-availability solutions, including health-aware traffic offloading.
• Strengthen system reliability through comprehensive test coverage, metrics, and observability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and resiliency.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience and 3+ years of experience with Go.
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• Strong background in DevOps practices, including IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring.
• Familiarity with SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to maintain system reliability.
• Proven experience in incident management and resolving production issues.
• Ability to own work end-to-end with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) and agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with the DNS protocol and DNS server implementations.
• Solid knowledge of network protocols such as BGP and TCP/IP.
