What you will do

• Own the technical strategy and architecture for the IAM platform, covering authentication, authorization, and session management at scale.
• Design and evolve OAuth 2.0 / OIDC flows and security primitives to meet product and compliance requirements.
• Lead cross-team technical decisions on protocol design, data modeling, and platform reliability.
• Proactively identify and resolve systemic risks and performance bottlenecks before they become incidents.
• Define engineering standards through code reviews, RFCs, design documentation, and mentorship.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex production issues within the IAM domain.

Requirements

• Must be based in Serbia
• Deep expertise in OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and related auth flows (PKCE, client credentials, token introspection).
• Strong understanding of web security fundamentals, including CSRF, XSS, TLS, and secure session management.
• Advanced Go (Golang) engineering skills, specifically with concurrency patterns and performance profiling.
• Experience with distributed systems, PostgreSQL schema design, and operating services in Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with message streaming platforms such as Kafka or NATS.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with the Ory ecosystem (Hydra, Kratos, Keto).
• Experience with CockroachDB or other distributed SQL databases.
• Familiarity with compliance standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• Contributions to open-source security or identity projects.
• Experience with SCIM, SAML, or enterprise SSO (LDAP / Active Directory).
• Proficiency with modern AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Cursor) for accelerating development.
