What you will do

• Lead ISO 26262 activities throughout the development lifecycle, including safety planning and HARA.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and software engineering teams to implement and trace safety requirements.
• Engage with customers during the RFQ stage to review safety objectives and resolve concerns.
• Develop and maintain critical work products such as Safety Plans, Safety Manuals, and Safety Cases.
• Perform ASIL rating, decomposition, and failure analysis using FMEA and FTA.
• Provide functional safety training and guidance across the organization to improve process expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• 7-10 years of experience implementing ISO 26262, preferably in powertrain or EV applications.
• Expertise in safety concepts, HARA, FMEA, and FTA at system and sub-system levels.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles across electronics, software, and mechanics.
• Experience with standards such as IEC 61508, EN 13849, ASPICE, or CMMI.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 10%).
