Lead Electronics Design Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Tallinn, Estonia

Salary: €3,400–€3,900 per month

What you will do

• Lead the Electrical Design team in Tallinn and translate technology strategy into team objectives, priorities, and delivery plans.
• Drive development of hardware solutions for electronic architectures, advanced PCB platforms, and optical systems.
• Plan resources, manage budgets, monitor progress, quality, costs, milestones, and continuous improvement.
• Translate customer and product requirements into technical specifications and hardware solutions.
• Design PCBs and optical solutions, select components and materials, and maintain design documentation.
• Oversee verification, validation, and testing in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of hardware and/or electronics engineering experience, including 3–5 years of team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of hardware and software engineering principles.
• Strong PCB design expertise, including layout, PCB/PCBA manufacturability, and laboratory validation; experience with DxDesigner, PADS, Altium, or Siemens Xpedition.
• Working knowledge of RoHS, REACH, ISO 16750, ISO 26262, and R10 standards.
• Excellent English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with automotive standards and core tools such as PPAP, DFMEA, APQP, and 8D.
