Tusker Used Leasing Operations Controller 12 Month FTC - Watford

Location: Watford, United Kingdom; hybrid, with at least three days per week or 60% of working time at the Watford office. Training requires five days per week in the office until fully competent.

Salary: £36,224–£38,130 per year. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

What you will do

• Manage the operational delivery and preparation of used leased vehicles for Tusker clients.
• Authorise bodywork repairs and servicing, maintenance and repair work to agreed used-car standards.
• Control repair costs and audit whether approved repair methods and standards are followed.
• Identify vehicles that do not meet the required standard and move them to the normal remarketing channel.
• Maintain the Used Car Stock page and coordinate vehicle allocation.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, drivers, and the Order & Delivery team to support successful vehicle delivery.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of repairing and maintaining cars and light commercial vehicles, including combustion-engine and electric vehicles.
• Experience in a manufacturer-franchised dealership across workshop and service-desk departments.
• Experience in cost approval and audit within a leasing company or similar organisation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage supplier and customer relationships.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, organisational skills, and effective time management.
• System experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.

• Previous automotive experience in a dealership or used-vehicle environment.
• Professional telephone manner and experience working toward individual and team targets.
