What you will do
- Design control strategies for grid-connected converters.
- Develop control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSCAD.
- Perform time-domain and frequency-domain analysis.
- Support field troubleshooting of converter issues.
- Collaborate with electrical design, software, and grid compliance teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in design reviews.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or Power Electronics.
- 3+ years of experience in the power converter industry, preferably in energy.
- Knowledge of grid-connected converters control design and three-phase converters.
- Understanding of DQO, sequence, and phasor representations.
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSCAD.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Porto, Portugal.
