Java Full Stack Engineer (Spring/Vue)

Location: On-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Research, design, develop, and extend distributed enterprise microservice applications.
• Implement new capabilities and mature existing software using Java, Spring Boot, Vue.js, messaging systems, and cloud-computing platforms.
• Participate in the full Agile lifecycle, including daily Scrum meetings, story grooming, bidding, and sprint execution.
• Maintain deployed systems, diagnose and resolve issues, and support end users.
• Provide technical and methodological guidance while helping the team achieve project objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline with 9+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 7 years of experience.
• At least 4 years of Java development experience with Spring and/or Spring Boot.
• At least 3 years of experience with Vue.js or a similar frontend framework.
• At least 3 years of experience with Kafka or a similar messaging system and RESTful web services.
• At least 3 years of Java development experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.
• Must work on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with modeling and simulation.
• Experience designing secure cloud-agnostic applications with Vue.js, Quasar, Spring Boot, AWS Lambda, and microservice architectures.
• Experience with Apache HTTP Server, Tomcat, Testcontainers, JPA, asynchronous futures, and Kafka topic management.
