What you will do
- Prepare and organize PBC schedules, audit support files, and transaction documentation.
- Perform reconciliations across bank accounts, AP, AR, and general ledger balances.
- Investigate and resolve financial variances or discrepancies.
- Assist with audit walkthroughs, sample testing, and control verification.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and internal accounting policies.
- Coordinate with finance, accounting, and external auditors to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- 1–2+ years of experience in audit support, accounting, or finance.
- Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with accounting systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and audit requests simultaneously.
- Must be based in Argentina, Brazil, or Mexico.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Exposure to SOX, PCAOB, or internal audit processes.
- Experience supporting external auditors.
- Familiarity with COSO or ISO controls.
