Credit Risk Analyst II

What you will do

• Review and decide grey-area credit applications for small businesses in multiple countries.
• Assess international public and private companies for fraud risk and creditworthiness using required documents, data, policies, and tools.
• Document independent analyses and credit decisions while following credit policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify additional information needed to assess transaction risk and collaborate with leadership and business partners to obtain it.
• Interact with customers or clients when needed to evaluate fraud and credit risk.
• Contribute to policy development and ad hoc credit projects while mentoring junior team members and assuming delegated leadership authority when required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience adjudicating small business applications in a scored grey-area environment.
• Advanced education or training in finance, accounting, and credit.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial credit principles and the regulatory environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using at least $50,000 of individual credit authority and qualification to hold the maximum credit authority for the segment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team while taking individual responsibility and applying hirify.global client-program and credit-policy expertise.

Nice to have

• International commercial fraud and credit risk experience.
• Credit risk experience in indirect lending, small business, or credit card industries within a scored environment.
