What you will do

• Lead the development of compliant and effective debt collection processes
• Own and manage the end-to-end debt collections process for retail credit portfolios
• Improve efficiency across the collections workflow and optimize internal/external operations for better customer contact
• Develop, manage, and refine collection strategies to optimize recoveries
• Document policies, processes, and procedures for debt collection and recoveries
• Oversee and select external debt collection agencies to ensure SLA adherence

Requirements

• Fluency in English
• 3+ years of experience in debt collection and recoveries in a retail bank, fintech, or DCA
• Experience creating and documenting collections processes
• In-depth understanding of debt portfolio management, debt sales, and debt restructuring
• Knowledge of credit products and local debt collection laws and regulations
• Proven ability to manage performance and relationships with third-party service providers
