What you will do

  • Build and maintain an enterprise-wide alert rationalization framework to improve signal-to-noise ratios.
  • Act as the primary governance lead for setting alerting thresholds and routing logic.
  • Define and enforce technical standards for severity, naming conventions, and alert metadata.
  • Establish a scalable Knowledge System for runbooks, ensuring every alert is paired with clear triage steps.
  • Define and publish KPIs to demonstrate the health and actionability of the monitoring ecosystem.
  • Coach engineering teams on SRE principles, SLI/SLO alignment, and multi-signal alerting patterns.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in IT Operations, SRE, Observability, or Incident Management.
  • Proven success in reducing alert noise and improving response quality in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Deep familiarity with modern observability stacks such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, or Prometheus/Grafana.
  • Strong understanding of service ownership models, CMDB dependency mapping, and incident response lifecycles.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
