What you will do

• Own TV Networks Record to Report activities: journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis, recurring reporting, and close execution.
• Oversee outsourced provider execution (including Accenture resources) and ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and compliance with hirify.global accounting policies.
• Coordinate with Corporate Accounting, Consolidations, Financial Systems, Finance, and other stakeholders to support month-end and quarter-end close requirements.
• Maintain and strengthen SOX-compliant controls, documentation, SOPs, close checklists, and issue resolution with Risk & Compliance, Audit, and Technical Accounting.
• Drive performance management and transformation: reduce manual work, improve quality and scalability, and support adoption/optimization of tools (Blackline, Promenta, SAP).
• Provide governance for outsourced R2R delivery (SLAs/KPIs/quality/control requirements) and lead root-cause analysis and sustainable remediation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting/controllership/corporate accounting/shared services or Record to Report operations.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and SOX requirements; experience supporting audit requests and controllership inquiries.
• Experience managing month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis, and close coordination.
• Experience overseeing outsourced/offshore/BPO/shared service teams and holding them accountable to service commitments.
• Strong systems experience with ERP and reconciliation/journal-entry/workflow/reporting tools (SAP/Blackline/Promenta preferred).
