Senior Consultant - Natural Resources

What you will do

• Support energy sector routing and siting projects across Georgia and the southeastern U.S.
• Prepare and manage environmental documents for NEPA compliance.
• Manage projects involving listed species surveys, permitting, and/or relocations (including gopher tortoise surveys).
• Manage jurisdictional wetland and stream determinations.
• Prepare and manage permit applications and compliance documentation for GA EPD, USACE, and USFWS.
• Coordinate GIS efforts, field data collection, technical report preparation, and staffing/workload/quality control; participate in client and regulatory meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in ecology, environmental science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Wetland Scientist certification.
• Strong project management background with experience in the utility sector.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including significant walking in uneven terrain and varying weather/wildlife conditions.
• Valid driver’s license.
