TL;DR
Services Account Executive (Professional Services): Evangelizing and selling Consulting and Managed Services offerings to clients and internal account teams with an accent on originating and closing service-led opportunities. Focus on building senior-level relationships, scoping and negotiating Statements of Work (SOW), and connecting business outcomes to technical capabilities like automation, observability, reliability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.

Salary: 253,000–327,000 USD (target salary range; OTE)

What you will do
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and account teams on the value of Professional Services.
- Identify, qualify, and drive attach and standalone services opportunities, including originating and closing service-led deals.
- Develop and present service proposals aligned to customer priorities and operational challenges.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships across customer organizations (Director through CIO/CTO-level).
- Drive pipeline creation through proactive engagement, account planning, and service-led strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to shape offerings for modernization initiatives (hybrid cloud adoption, platform engineering, AI-enabled infrastructure, operational transformation).
Requirements
- 8+ years of direct consulting or services sales experience, preferably in large-scale enterprise, hyperscaler, service provider, or telecom environments.
- Proven ability to originate and close service-led opportunities (not only attach to product sales).
- Experience engaging customers on platform-level concerns: observability/telemetry, automation & orchestration, reliability/availability/performance optimization, and cost optimization/FinOps.
- Ability to operate in complex, highly matrixed environments with both overlay and direct sales responsibilities.
- Strong business acumen and credibility with technical stakeholders (architects, SREs, platform leaders), with executive communication skills.
- Experience with professional services scoping, proposal development, and Statement of Work (SOW) creation and negotiation.
Nice to have
- Experience selling into or working with hyperscalers, large service providers, or telecom operators.
- Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, data platforms, or high-performance workloads.
- Exposure to cloud economics and FinOps frameworks.
- Experience working with or selling into platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE organizations.
