What you will do

• Perform scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines, systems, and auxiliary equipment.
• Repair malfunctions and troubleshoot issues to prevent or minimize downtime.
• Inspect machinery and systems for signs of faults and initiate corrective actions.
• Improve functionality of machines and equipment to increase efficiency.
• Maintain and repair facility utility equipment (boiler systems, chiller & cooling tower systems, HVAC, air compressors, and other plant utilities).
• Document maintenance activities and become a subject matter expert at higher levels.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 1+ years of related experience, or completion of PBS requirements and passing the assessment at the appropriate level.
• Basic knowledge/exposure to facility systems such as HVAC, boilers, or chillers.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance concepts.
• Ability to work a non-standard schedule: B Night shift 6pm–6am, Thursday–Saturday every other Wednesday, with possible on-call hours.
• Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems; mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting.
