Salary: $74,800 - $93,500 USD

What you will do

• Isolate plasma and buffy coat from whole blood and perform nucleic acid extraction.
• Execute library preparation for NGS using both automated and manual methods.
• Determine nucleic acid quantity and quality using qPCR, Qubit, and BioAnalyzer.
• Load libraries onto NGS platforms including NovaSeq and Revio.
• Track sample inventory and maintain precise records in LIMS and internal databases.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor malfunctions.

Requirements

• BS/BA in a biological science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of related laboratory experience.
• Hands-on experience with library preparation and NGS platforms.
• Must pass a post-offer criminal background check.
• Proficiency with LIMS, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift up to 25lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience with laboratory automation systems such as Tecan, Hamilton, or Beckman-Coulter.
