HR Consultant

Location: United States — Remote. Employees based in hirify.global offices in Denver, San Francisco, New York City, or Scottsdale are expected to work from the office approximately 2–3 days per week or more depending on the role.

Salary: $98,000–$115,000 per year in Denver and most other major cities; $119,000–$140,000 per year in New York and San Francisco.

What you will do

• Lead people initiatives for assigned small business clients, including hiring, onboarding, development, retention, and compliance.
• Advise leadership and employees on performance management, feedback, productivity, engagement, and workplace practices.
• Plan workforces, assess organizational capabilities, identify talent gaps, and support succession planning.
• Develop people plans and provide organizational development support through organization design, leadership coaching, development solutions, and change management.
• Manage client HR data and support onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, and other HR functions.
• Serve as the primary client contact and provide high-quality customer service.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of HR experience as a People Operations Specialist and/or HR Generalist across different industries and company sizes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with employees and leaders at all levels.
• Experience with HR software, Google Suite, Slack, Asana, Zoom, and modern workplace technology.
• Experience with workforce analytics, data, and reporting for strategic decision-making.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, ambiguity, and changing business needs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters ethically and with integrity.
