What you will do

  • Probe prospects and establish viable opportunities through discovery questions
  • Contact prospective customers via phone, email, and desk-based outreach (e.g., LinkedIn messaging)
  • Evaluate and score lead viability by assessing need, timing, and investment plans
  • Identify key stakeholders and inform prospects about Belden solutions while gauging interest
  • Score opportunities using MEDDIC criteria and schedule meetings for handover to sales
  • Design lead generation strategies using Salesforce.com performance data and improve outreach processes with marketing and sales

Requirements

  • Based in the Chicagoland area to support the hybrid work model and regular in-person collaboration at the Rosemont, IL office
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in lead generation (lead generation specialist)
  • Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce.com experience expected)
  • Business-standard English fluency and strong written/verbal communication with comfort in phone-based interaction
  • Strong web-based computer skills and ability to build rapport via telephone and email
