TL;DR
Legal Compliance Manager (SaaS/Energy): Building and operationalizing the company’s legal compliance program with an accent on regulatory, contractual, and internal legal obligations. Focus on translating complex legal requirements into actionable business processes and driving accountability across Security, Privacy, and Product teams.
Location: Must be based in the United States (Boulder, Colorado).
Salary: $115,000–$135,000 USD + Bonus.

What you will do
- Design and implement the company’s legal compliance program framework and risk identification processes.
- Develop and manage a system to track obligations derived from contracts, laws, and internal policies.
- Translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into actionable business workflows.
- Monitor compliance status, identify gaps, and support remediation efforts across the organization.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Security, Privacy, and Product teams to drive accountability.
- Support corporate governance, entity filings, and audit readiness activities.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in legal compliance, risk, or legal operations.
- Experience in a SaaS, technology, or regulated environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build compliance processes across teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to translate complex legal requirements into clear, actionable workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting or building legal risk frameworks.
- Familiarity with privacy, data protection, or regulatory compliance concepts.
- Exposure to regulated industries such as energy, utilities, or fintech.
- Leadership and management experience working across business units.
