Salary: $190,000 - $270,000 annually

What you will do

• Own the design and evolution of public APIs and SDKs, managing versioning and backwards compatibility.
• Define the end-to-end developer experience, including auth, onboarding, error handling, and rate limiting.
• Write code, build sample applications, and run integrations to identify and resolve friction points.
• Analyze support tickets and forum feedback to treat recurring questions as design defects.
• Set and defend key metrics like time-to-first-call, integration success rates, and API error rates.
• Lock API contracts and requirements before engineering implementation to ensure scope control.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in platform, developer experience, API, or SDK products.
• Deep technical proficiency with API contracts, request payloads, logs, and telemetry.
• Proven track record of building robust, scalable APIs and SDKs for external developers.
• Experience integrating products with third-party enterprise applications.
• Strong ability to translate developer needs into clear, concise specs and documentation.
• Must be able to work from the Mountain View office 4 days per week.
