Deployment Strategist (Fintech)

Deployment Strategist (Fintech): Managing the end-to-end implementation and onboarding of the AI-native revenue platform for finance and accounting teams with an accent on ERP integration and complex workflow design. Focus on building implementation playbooks, coaching internal teams on accounting best practices, and driving successful product adoption for high-growth customers.

Location: Must be based in New York City, NY (5 days a week in-office)

Salary: $120,000 – $170,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Lead customer implementations from initial kickoff through to full go-live.
• Map customer business processes to the platform and manage integrations with ERPs, CRMs, and tax systems.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on accounting systems for both customers and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed implementation roadmaps for complex multi-month projects.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to identify product gaps and drive roadmap improvements.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with CFOs, controllers, and finance leaders.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in implementation or customer onboarding at early-stage startups.
• Deep expertise in accounting principles and technical finance systems.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to design advanced workflows.
• Ability to work 5 days a week in-office in New York City.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both finance and technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating ERPs such as NetSuite or Sage.
• Background in fintech or SaaS environments.
• Big Four experience or CPA certification.
