Full Stack Software Developer (PHP/Laravel)

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada; hybrid with 2 in-office days per week

Salary: CAD $96,900–$132,300 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement product features across the full stack, with a focus on PHP and Laravel backend development and Vue-based user interfaces.
• Build scalable backend systems, APIs, databases, and user-facing functionality across multiple codebases.
• Improve product architecture, infrastructure, performance, security, and the development process.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional team members to define requirements and solve complex technical challenges.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain coding standards, and research and integrate new technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining full-stack web applications in production.
• Strong PHP experience and modern web framework knowledge, preferably Laravel, including API and backend service development.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or similar.
• Solid SQL and relational database knowledge, including schema design.
• Experience with cloud platforms, testing, unit, integration, and end-to-end test maintenance, and modern software development practices.
• Ability to deliver features independently, create technical documentation, collaborate effectively, and work through ambiguity.
