Salary: CAD 96,900-132,300/year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement product features across the full stack, focusing on backend development with PHP (Laravel) and working with JavaScript (Vue.js).
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code to support scalable backend systems and user-facing functionality.
• Deliver improvements from user-facing changes to backend optimizations and scalable enhancements across multiple codebases.
• Improve and maintain product architecture, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and solve complex technical challenges.
• Participate in code reviews and research/integrate new technologies to improve performance, security, and development processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining full-stack web applications in a production environment.
• Strong experience with PHP and modern web frameworks (Laravel preferred), including API and backend service development.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js (preferred), React, or similar.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases with proficiency in SQL and ability to design schemas.
• Experience with cloud platforms, testing, and modern software development practices.
• Ability to deliver features end-to-end independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
