Fullstack Developer (Python)

Location: Montreal, Canada; hybrid model with 2 set in-office collaboration days per week

What you will do

• Design, code, test, and debug product software with a focus on quality, maintainability, and reliable delivery.
• Spend at least 75% of working time coding and contributing directly to team deliverables.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Improve component reuse, extensibility, maintainability, scalability, and continuous delivery practices.
• Monitor production applications, investigate client-impacting issues, and support technical roadmap initiatives.
• Design solutions with Product Owners, implement end-to-end automated tests, and own assigned work from design through production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or a related field.
• 1–2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Professional experience with Python and unit testing using PyTest or a similar framework.
• Familiarity with PHP, JavaScript, relational databases, SQL, Git, CI/CD, and Docker.
• Experience or exposure to ORM tools such as SQLAlchemy and cloud computing platforms.
• Strong communication, collaboration, technical problem-solving, and AI-assisted development skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js or a similar frontend framework.
• AWS experience.
• French and English bilingualism.
