TL;DR
Fullstack Software Engineer (AI): Building scalable web applications, APIs, backend services, and lambdas for a commerce operations platform with an accent on AI-assisted engineering, reliability, and fit-for-purpose technical design. Focus on evaluating agent-generated code, designing meaningful test coverage, maintaining CI/CD, and owning production outcomes across ambiguous cross-functional work.
Location: Columbus, OH, US; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Austin, TX; Los Angeles, CA; or fully remote within the United States, select Canadian provinces, the United Kingdom, or Australia.

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain web applications, APIs, backend services, and serverless functions.
- Use AI agents as the starting point for planning and implementation, then validate generated code rigorously.
- Build meaningful test coverage and contribute to a healthy CI/CD process.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to own outcomes in ambiguous situations.
- Improve engineering effectiveness through code reviews, support insights, and early identification of cross-team dependencies.
- Own production stability, identify risks early, make reversible decisions, and iterate on shipped solutions.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of experience building web applications, backend services, or APIs.
- Practical experience using AI agents for task planning, prompting, output evaluation, and code review.
- Ability to identify incorrect AI-generated code and take ownership of everything that ships.
- Experience with well-tested, reliable software and agile CI/CD environments.
- Ability to give direct feedback, ask for help early, learn from mistakes, and grow through feedback.
- High standards for ownership, resilience, and engineering quality.
Nice to have
- Experience with PHP and Laravel.
- Experience with AWS Serverless.
- Experience with Vue.js.
