Salary: $125,000 – $160,000

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design system including components, patterns, tokens, and documentation.
• Lead token strategy covering semantic structure, theming, and density across products.
• Partner with frontend engineers to ensure accurate implementation and integration into development workflows.
• Audit existing product UI to identify inconsistencies and implement systematic solutions.
• Define documentation standards to ensure the system is usable and scalable.
• Validate components against real product contexts to identify gaps and edge cases.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Product or UI Designer with a focus on design systems.
• Deep expertise in Figma, including components, variants, and library management.
• Hands-on experience building or significantly evolving a design system.
• Strong understanding of token pipelines, CSS variables, and tools like Tokens Studio.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies and ability to review work in Storybook.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers as a peer to discuss implementation tradeoffs.

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B SaaS or data-heavy products.
• Exposure to fintech or accounting tools.
• Coding experience with HTML, CSS, or React component libraries.
