What you will do
- Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes to ingest and transform data from internal systems, third-party APIs, and IoT devices.
- Design and implement efficient data models for analytics, machine learning, and operational systems.
- Own and manage the data infrastructure leveraging cloud-native solutions (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Partner with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to deliver data products for smarter decision-making.
- Implement robust monitoring, validation, and governance to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Architect solutions capable of handling rapid growth in data volume and complexity as the business scales.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably within a startup or high-growth environment.
- Proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java).
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect).
- A builder mentality with the ability to handle ambiguity and fast iterations in a small team.

- Hands-on experience with data streaming technologies like Kafka or Kinesis.
