Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and AS9100 certification activities.
- Develop Product Assurance, Mission Assurance, and Reliability programs for spacecraft and flight hardware.
- Provide quality oversight across design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test phases.
- Establish and manage nonconformance, corrective action (CAPA), and Material Review Board (MRB) processes.
- Manage supplier quality requirements, conduct audits, and drive performance improvements.
- Mentor and lead Quality, Inspection, and Reliability personnel to foster a strong quality culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or space systems quality and reliability engineering.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing quality or mission assurance teams.
- Deep working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management principles.
- Proficiency with quality tools including CAPA, 8D, FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or protected person.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting NASA, ESA, DoD, or Space Force mission-critical programs.
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CMQ/OE), Lead Auditor, or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with EEE parts control and spacecraft Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T).
- Knowledge of ECSS, FAA, EASA, IPC, or J-STD requirements.
