Senior Quality Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Must be a U.S. Citizen. Position is based in Orlando, FL, with a part-time remote/hybrid schedule.

What you will do

• Review internal and external manufacturing documentation to ensure quality delivery.
• Analyze quality data, yields, rework, and scrap trends to support Integrated Product Teams.
• Lead corrective-action meetings and identify root-cause trends.
• Participate in Material and Failure Review Boards to disposition non-conforming hardware.
• Perform assessments and audits to verify compliance with engineering drawings and ISO-9001/AS9100 standards.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to facility access and security clearance requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret government security clearance.
• Technical degree at the Bachelor level or above or equivalent combined education/experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated presentation skills for leading meetings and reporting findings.

Nice to have

• Experience with metrics generation and data analysis.
• Background in Failure Analysis facilitation and Corrective Action Boards.
• Familiarity with Apriso software.
