Software Engineer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Design and implement resilient, scalable, and performant solutions for complex healthcare problems.
• Develop across the full application delivery stack using Java, Spring, NodeJS, VueJS, AWS, and related technologies.
• Build scalable web applications, backend services, REST APIs, and integrations with distributed systems.
• Participate in technical and product discussions with engineering, product, and business leaders.
• Apply strong design, communication, ownership, and problem-solving practices independently and collaboratively.
• Continuously improve engineering quality through testing, automation, and Shift Left practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.
• Professional experience with Java, Spring, NodeJS, JavaScript or TypeScript, SQL, relational databases, and REST APIs.
• Experience with VueJS, React, Angular, or another modern frontend framework, plus automated testing with tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Jest, or Vitest.
• Understanding of version control, continuous integration, distributed systems, test automation, and effective technical communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI, machine learning, and predictive algorithms.
• Knowledge of statistics and the healthcare domain.
• Experience with Kafka or other distributed event-streaming platforms.
• Experience with data pipeline technologies.
