What you will do

• Own the end-to-end procurement cycle, including requirements gathering, commercial evaluation, negotiation, and contracting.
• Lead the procurement function across a $50M+ spend base as a key partner to Finance, Legal, and IT.
• Optimize cloud marketplace purchases, track committed-spend usage, and evaluate alternative purchasing paths.
• Identify and execute opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and improved contract terms.
• Implement and manage procurement tools (e.g., Tropic, Zip, Ironclad) and use AI tools to streamline workflows.
• Improve spend visibility, renewal tracking, and procurement KPI reporting.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in technology procurement, strategic sourcing, and vendor management.
• Experience implementing and managing procurement and contract management platforms.
• Expertise in cloud marketplace procurement and committed-spend optimization.
• Strong analytical and financial skills to evaluate spend data and build business cases.
• Track record of driving cost savings through complex agreement negotiations.
• Must be based in New York, NY for a hybrid work arrangement.
