TL;DR
Employee Experience Specialist (HR/Corporate Culture): Creating a positive and productive work environment to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement with an accent on activities, processes, systems and programs. Focus on planning engaging events, managing employee recognition programs, and supporting internal communication channels.
Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite). Must meet ITAR requirements: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000

What you will do
- Strategize and execute Employee Experience activities, including social events, speaker series, and mentorship programs.
- Plan and execute engaging events for holidays and business milestones, primarily for Redmond and Woodinville locations.
- Support company-wide gifting, milestone anniversary, and recognition programs.
- Guide SpaceX Community social groups, manage budget requests, and train Community Leads.
- Maintain and update internal communication channels, including the Employee Experience website and newsletters.
- Track engagement, budget, and ROI across all SpaceX locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience in HR, event planning, or employee experience; OR 6+ years of experience in HR or equity and inclusion initiatives.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to conform to U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR).
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Ability to travel up to 20% to other SpaceX locations.
Nice to have
- Experience working on employee inclusion and culture initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously.
- Prior professional event planning experience.
