Salary: $173,676 – $210,741

What you will do
- Lead the technical execution of large-scale initiatives, such as unifying login systems and implementing role-based access controls.
- Architect and refactor identity and access systems serving donors, campaigns, and internal users.
- Partner with product and design teams to shape roadmaps and translate strategic goals into technical solutions.
- Serve as a technical consultant for architectural decisions, system design, and security best practices.
- Champion design patterns that improve platform maintainability and security posture.
- Mentor teammates and foster an inclusive, collaborative engineering culture.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of professional experience leading complex technical initiatives.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. ( is unable to sponsor work visas).
- Must be based in the United States.
- Strong understanding of performance, scalability, and security best practices.
- Working familiarity with Ruby and TypeScript.
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with OAuth, OIDC, or JWT authentication patterns.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, React, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, or Docker.
- Curiosity about AI coding assistants as productivity tools.
