What you will do

• Drive mechanical design of consumer electronics from concept through mass production.
• Manage complex 3D CAD assemblies and maintain design intent across the product lifecycle.
• Create functional prototypes and mockups to validate fit, form, and function.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and resolve DFM/DFA/DFX feedback.
• Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and RFQ packages.
• Serve as the on-site mechanical liaison for cross-functional teams and manufacturing partners in Asia.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience in consumer electronics.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, with strong experience in large-assembly management (Creo preferred).
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes including injection molding, die-casting, and CNC.
• Proven ability to work with vendors and manufacturers in Asia.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (no sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Direct experience developing cameras or video doorbells.
• Experience in fast-paced consumer electronics development cycles.
• Background in coordinating mechanical work across multiple global sites.
