What you will do

• Operate manual and CNC machine tools, including milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and grinders.
• Develop manufacturing plans from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Fabricate and modify intricate parts from materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic.
• Conduct inspections to ensure parts meet strict quality standards and close tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support hardware feasibility and project goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a multi-disciplinary technical machine shop environment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in computer-aided machining.
• Ability to read, interpret, and develop manufacturing plans from complex engineering drawings.
• Demonstrated skill working to close tolerances (+/- .01mm).
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under US Export Administration Regulations.
• Ability to work onsite in Wilton, CT, including standing for up to 12 hours per day.
