What you will do

• Set up, program, and operate CNC machinery including lathes, mills, and drills.
• Interpret work order routings, prints, and sketches to execute machining tasks.
• Modify machine parameters and adapt programming languages as required.
• Inspect finished work using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and report operating difficulties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical school education.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC machine tool programming and operating experience.
• Ability to operate a minimum of 2 CNC machine tools.
• Previous experience as a manual machinist.
• Proficiency in making complex mathematical calculations and resolving technical problems.
• Ability to read and interpret work-related machine drawings.
