What you will do

• Perform machining operations and support CNC programming on the shop floor.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production program issues to optimize cycle times and maximize machine utilization.
• Develop offline CNC programs for critical paths or bottlenecks based on shop floor priorities.
• Set up and operate lathes, mills, and CNC machines safely and efficiently.
• Document manufacturing activities in alignment with company objectives and quality standards.
• Train and assist other CNC setup operators.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates or technical degree preferred).
• Proficiency in EIA G-code editing and Mazatrol programming/editing is required.
• 3+ years of work experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in metal working.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver through a manufacturing plant.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of EdgeCam or Fusion 360.
