TL;DR
Founding Product Manager (AI): Own restaurant reporting end-to-end, building both the “understand” and “anticipate” halves with an accent on scalable data foundations, operator-focused reporting experiences, and AI-native recommendations. Focus on defining the reporting data foundation across the full restaurant business and turning customer signals into the next set of product priorities.
Location: Remote (US or Canada)
Salary: $190–230K base, plus pre-IPO equity

What you will do
- Own the “understand” half of reporting end-to-end: data models, builder experience, curated daily reports, drill-down behavior, mobile experience, and migration from the current state.
- Own the “anticipate” half in partnership with the AI team: surface what’s coming for operators based on business history and provide suggestions to hit goals.
- Define the scalable reporting data foundation across sales, menu, guests, payouts, labor, and loyalty so both halves compound over time.
- Make reporting a key reason restaurants choose Owner by driving measurable customer feedback, sales conversations, and renewals.
- Be the voice of customers by turning signals from support tickets, ride-alongs, churn conversations, and the active backlog into priorities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- Ability to ship software that meaningfully improved customer outcomes.
- Strong product sense and customer empathy, including experience conducting research to uncover true needs.
- Strong data fluency to integrate quantitative and qualitative data into decision-making.
- Comfort with technical complexity: understand product architecture and discuss scope/tradeoffs with engineers.
- Location: must be eligible to work remotely in the United States or Canada.
