What you will do
- Improve factory manufacturing availability by defining problems, building roadmaps, and escalating/engaging suppliers to resolve limiting module issues (including long tool down recovery).
- Manage supplier-related quality and safety issues, including site Material Quality Incident (MQI) closure performance and leading 8D work with suppliers/modules to close root causes and prevention plans.
- Establish control standards and monitor performance to minimize variability in quality standards and systems.
- Enable site-based supplier personnel work to fulfill local contract agreements.
- Partner with factory modules and leadership to improve cost structures, drive performance to contracts, and identify cost savings opportunities across local factory functional areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Physics, or related) with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 4+ years, or PhD with 2+ years.
- Experience with advanced manufacturing processes and methodologies such as FMEA, SPC, PCSA, or 8D problem-solving.
- Strong ability to drive supplier accountability, develop quality standards, and implement process improvements.
- Expertise in root cause analysis and KPI development for supply chain performance tracking.
- Data fluency for decision-making using manufacturing system analysis tools, database queries, MS Power BI, and data visualizations.
- Hybrid work model: split time between on-site at the assigned site and off-site.
