What you will do

• Lead the infrastructure layer powering real-time video agents and model serving.
• Integrate and orchestrate multiple third-party model providers including LLM, STT, and TTS stacks.
• Build systems ensuring production reliability, low latency, and consistent quality.
• Architect the transition from third-party APIs to custom in-house model infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product, R&D, and design teams to translate requirements into infrastructure decisions.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers as the agent product scales.

Requirements

• Must be based in Europe, with a preference for UK, Germany, Switzerland, or Ireland.
• Experience building and shipping backend infrastructure or platform systems in production.
• Strong track record working with external APIs and orchestrating complex dependencies.
• Ability to work in 0 to 1 environments, prototyping and iterating on solutions.
• Deep focus on reliability, latency, and observability at scale.
• Experience with machine learning systems, model serving, or LLM inference is highly preferred.
