What you will do

• Lead end-to-end architecture for data platforms and pipelines, including scraping, extraction, and LLM integration.
• Scale pipelines and systems using safe rollout plans and data-quality metrics to handle traffic growth.
• Translate business goals into technical RFCs and sequence work into deliverable data products.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards for testing, observability, and security practices.
• Mentor senior engineers and lead architecture reviews to multiply organizational impact.
• Prototype AI capabilities and evaluate ROI to make pragmatic productionalization decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building production data systems and deploying LLMs at scale.
• Deep expertise in Python, modern service architectures, system design, and data modeling.
• Extensive experience training and deploying machine learning models, specifically in the NLP/LLM domain.
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with operational maturity, including SLOs, observability, and on-call practices.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
