What you will do

• Contribute to distributed backend systems and shared platform services.
• Ensure the safe and reliable operation of enterprise-grade systems in production.
• Break down complex, ambiguous problems into clear, deliverable technical steps.
• Collaborate with product, security, legal, and infrastructure teams to implement scalable solutions.
• Leverage observability and monitoring to maintain system health and performance metrics.
• Drive long-term platform architecture to support future scale and evolving enterprise needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a software engineer at a senior or staff level.
• Strong expertise in backend development and system design.
• Experience building and operating backend systems at scale, ideally in enterprise or platform teams.
• Proven track record of owning systems in production, including incident response and reliability.
• Ability to align with cross-functional stakeholders and drive technical initiatives end-to-end.
• Must have right to work in Europe and be based in the specified regions.

Nice to have

• Experience with security, compliance, data handling, or multi-tenant systems.
• Previous experience leading projects or mentoring other engineers.
